The Otome game “is a story-based video game that is targeted towards women. Generally one of the goals, besides the main idea/goal, is to develop a romantic relationship between the female player/main character and one of the second-lead male characters.” (From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otome_game) There are several manga and/or anime that are based on this idea, but twisting it around, as the main character is usually the villainess, often a reincarnated player of the game. I wanted to take this idea of an otome game (although I have yet to have a chance to play any in person), and imagine what would happen if it was a book instead, based upon actual people.
